From 100 Level to your first global career — a structured path.
The student journey, year by year
100 Level — Enrolment & Foundation
You join BridgeDegree and complete your Career Assessment. Based on your assessment, you are matched to your programme mentor. Your Career Passport is created.
200 Level — First Internship Placement
Your first structured internship begins. BridgeDegree matches you to a vetted corporate partner. Your performance is tracked and at the end, your supervisor completes a formal performance review that is authenticated and added to your Career Passport.
300–400 Level — International Placements & Research Alignment
You progress to higher-complexity placements. Your final-year project brief is aligned to a real industry problem. BridgeDegree connects you with a co-author and begins the editorial preparation process for publication submission.
Final Year — Publication Submission & Career Passport Completion
Your co-authored research paper is submitted to an approved, indexed, peer-reviewed journal. Your Career Passport is complete — aggregating 2+ years of verified experience, publication records, and mentor endorsements.
Post-Graduation & NYSC — BridgeDegree After
For NYSC corps members, BridgeDegree After activates a dedicated career placement module. For students pursuing international opportunities, the Global Mobility Framework delivers visa application guidance and post-NYSC migration planning.
The three engines — in detail
Engine 1: Work Experience Engine
The Work Experience Engine begins at 200 Level and runs continuously until graduation. It includes structured internships with vetted partners, mandatory mentor assignment, BridgeDegree's performance evaluation framework, and blockchain-authenticated verification of every placement.
What you graduate with: 2+ years of verified, documented, employer-legible work experience.
Engine 2: Publication Pipeline
Your final-year project is aligned to a real industry brief, co-authored with your supervisor and/or an industry expert, and submitted to journals on BridgeDegree's approved whitelist — vetted against Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ.
Quality standard: BridgeDegree maintains a strict journal whitelist. We never submit to predatory publishers.
Engine 3: Global Mobility Framework
The Global Mobility Framework is the aspirational tier — available as an add-on. It includes scholarship research and application strategy, SOP development, referee selection, international CV development and ATS calibration, LinkedIn optimisation, and post-graduation migration support.

- All approved journals are indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, or DOAJ
- A BridgeDegree journal whitelist is published on the website and updated annually
- No submissions are made to any journal not on the whitelist
